Monarch Airlines charter flight punctuality improved significantly during 2013 compared to 2012, the average delay reducing by 20% from 29 minutes to 23 minutes and on-time performance increasing by two percentage points to 64%.

Compared to the UK charter flight average, Monarch Airlines charter flights had much worse punctuality across all delay categories during 2013.

Monarch Airlines ranked third out of three UK Charter Airlines for flight punctuality during 2013.

The average Monarch Airlines charter flight operated 20 minutes behind schedule, with 71% operating on time during the summer 2013 season.

A small number of flights at London Luton and Birmingham had the best punctuality, followed by Monarch charter flights at London Gatwick airport where delays averaged 18 minutes and 75% on-time performance was recorded.

Longer days were seen at Manchester airport, averaging around 25 minutes.

Monarch Airlines charter flights were delayed by an average of 29 minutes with 54% on-time performance during the winter 2012 / 13 season.

Delays were relatively consistent across the three UK reporting airports at which flights operated, with those at Manchester acheiving the shortest average delay at 27 minutes but the poorest on-time performance at 46%.
