Monarch Airlines charter flight punctuality improved during 2014 compared with the previous year, the average delay reducing from 23 minutes to 20 minutes and on-time performance increasing by 4 percentage points to 68%.

Compared to the UK charter flight average, Monarch Airlines charter flights had slightly worse punctuality across all delay categories during 2014.

The average Monarch Airlines charter flight operated 19 minutes behind schedule, with 69% operating on time during the summer 2014 season.

Flights at Birmingham had the best punctuality for the airline, with an average delay of 11 minutes and 79% on-time performance.

Flights at Manchester, London Gatwick and London Luton all had a similar delay profile, averaging around 23 minutes to 25 minutes.

Monarch Airlines charter flights were delayed by an average of nearly 19 minutes with 67% on-time performance during the winter 2013 / 14 season.

Monarch charter flights at Birmingham had the best timekeeping during the season, with an average delay of 12 minutes and 78% on-time performance. Delays were relatively consistent across the other three UK reporting airports at which flights operated, with those at Manchester achieving the next shortest average delay at 16 minutes, through to those at Gatwick being held up by 21 minutes.
