Since 2003 we have been providing detailed analysis of airline delays at 10 major UK airports, and have grown to become the UK’s trusted source for airline and airport punctuality statistics.

Data is derived from statistics published monthly by the Civil Aviation Authority.

bmi regional took top spot for scheduled flight punctuality in the UK for the fifth consecutive year in 2009. KLM finished as overall runner-up.

From 2009, taxi time assumptions at the 10 UK reporting airports were adjusted by the CAA. The changes can be seen at our data page. This means pre-2009 punctuality data is not directly comparable with 2009 data.
