Latest On-Time Performance Stats for:

February 2017
and the Rolling Year to 28 February 2017

(March 2017 OTP Data available: 21 Aug 2017)
Although the main sections of the site provide detailed analysis of punctuality data updated on a quarterly basis for scheduled and low cost airlines, and on a seasonal basis for charter carriers, this section presents a summary of the latest punctuality figures for the largest UK & Ireland scheduled and charter airlines, updated every month.

Monthly data for previous months can also be accessed.
What is On-Time Performance (OTP)?
The tables on this page analyse On-Time Performance (OTP) for the largest UK & Ireland airlines operating at UK Reporting Airports. OTP is the proportion of flights operating up to 15 minutes late. Once a flight operates 16 minutes or more behind schedule, it is considered to be delayed. OTP within 15 minutes is the standard benchmark criteria for flight punctuality, and is used in the aviation industry worldwide.

Sample Size
The table on the right shows the approximate sample size for each airline listed in the Latest OTP tables above.

Sample size (%) is the number of flights analysed for each airline (at 25 UK Reporting Airports), as a proportion of the total number of flights operated by that airline at all UK airports.

Sample size is estimated by FlightOnTime.info using several sources, including CAA data and published flight schedules. Sample size may vary slightly from month-to-month and these approximate proportions are based on an annualised analysis.
