Thomson Airways maintained first position in the UK charter airline ranking for the first five months of the summer 2012 season, with an impressive lead boasting an average delay of 10.6 minutes, less than half that of nearest competitor Thomas Cook Airlines in second position with an average delay of 23.4 minutes.

Monarch Airlines followed in third place, with their average charter flight operating around 30 minutes behind schedule. The full season results are due to be released in January 2013.
