Thomson Airways retained the most punctual title for the second consecutive winter season during winter 2012 / 13, with an average delay of 17 minutes and 74% on-time performance.

Overall, following a record winter season for the shortest charter delays at UK reporting airports during winter 2011 / 12, the winter 2012 / 13 season boasted an even better performance with an average delay of 20 minutes recorded, the lowest seen since we began analysing records in 2002. On-time performance stood at around 71% during the season.

Thomas Cook Airlines achieved a close second place, with an average delay of around 19 minutes, despite a slightly higher on-time performance rate than Thomson charter flights.

Monarch charter flights had the longest delays, achieving only slightly above 50% overall on-time performance.
