bmi regional held a clear lead in on-time performance ahead of runner-up BA CityFlyer in our OTP league table for March
, with over 94% on-time performance, over seven percentage points higher than BA CityFlyer and a significant 18 percentage points higher than the UK average for the month.

flybe climbed one place into third position for the month of March, with easyJet climbing four places into fourth position, both low cost airlines achieving OTP levels well in excess of the UK scheduled average for the month.
British Airways and Monarch scheduled flights had the poorest OTP scores for March at 69.5% and 67.5% respectively.
The year to date analysis also showed bmi regional well clear at the top of the rankings with 93.5% OTP, while second place went to BA CityFlyer with 87.8% OTP, followed by Aer Lingus in third.
Overall scheduled flight punctuality worsened in March 2013 by close to five percentage points compared with February 2013, to 76.4%, close to seven percentage points below the 3-year March average.
Among UK Charter airlines Thomson Airways returned to top position in March, with 75.4% OTP, followed by Thomas Cook Airlines in second position (75.1%) and Monarch Airlines charter flights in third (58.7%).
For the year to date the same pattern was evident among the charter carriers, Thomson charter flights being the most punctual with 80.3% OTP, followed by Thomas Cook and Monarch.
