bmi regional maintained first position on our OTP punctuality league table for October
with 88.8% OTP, ahead of flybe, who climbed four places since September to move into second place with 87.1% OTP.

BA CityFlyer followed closely behind flybe with 87.0%, while low-cost operators Ryanair and easyJet had 84.6% and 82.1% OTP respectively for the month.
For the year to date bmi regional remained well clear at the top of the table with 92.4% OTP, while in second place BA CityFlyer recorded 89.5% OTP, both well in excess of the scheduled flight average for the period at UK reporting airports of 79.6%.
British Airways flights once again had the poorest OTP level for the month at 67.9%, around 11 percentage points poorer than the UK average.
Charter flight punctuality showed with an overall OTP level of 81.5% in September, much higher than for scheduled flights. Thomson Airways once again took the OTP lead with 83.2%, followed closely by Thomas Cook Airlines in second place with 82.3% OTP. Monarch was in third position with 73.8% OTP for their charter flights in October.
For the year to 31 October there was no change in the ranking compared with the previous month among the charter carriers, Thomson charter flights being the most punctual with 79.5% OTP, followed by Thomas Cook and Monarch.
