BA CityFlyer Kick Off 2014 with Significant OTP Lead

BA CityFlyer maintained first position for the second consecutive month in our February OTP punctuality league table at UK Reporting Airports, with 92.4% OTP, 10 percentage points above the UK average and well clear of runner up easyJet (87.7%). flybe and Aer Lingus followed with OTP levels of 84.1% and 83.7% respectively during the month.

For the year to 31 January 2014, bmi regional were at the top of the table with 92.4% OTP, and in second place BA CityFlyer recorded 90.2% OTP, both well in excess of the scheduled flight average for the period at UK reporting airports of 80.3%.

Overall Charter flight OTP was 74.2% in January, Thomson Airways returning to first place with 76.7% OTP for the month, slightly ahead of Thomas Cook Airlines (76.0%), but well ahead of Monarch Charter flights (65.9%).

For the full year there was no change in the ranking compared with the previous month among the charter carriers, Thomson charter flights being the most punctual with 79.5% OTP, followed by Thomas Cook and Monarch.
