with 93.0% on-time performance, having previously held the position for most of 2013. BA CityFlyer were in second place for the month with 87.3%, followed by Virgin Atlantic who climbed two places to achieve third with 82.2%.

For the year to date analysis there was no change at the top of the league table with bmi regional in a narrow lead with 90.4% OTP, ahead of BA CityFlyer with 89.3%. These carriers were followed by flybe (84.1%) and Aer Lingus (83.4%) for the year to 31 July 2014.
Unusually, low-cost carriers easyJet and Ryanair both dropped three places in the July league table to the bottom of the rankings, with only around 70% OTP for both airlines during the month.
Overall Charter flight OTP was 69.1% in July 2014, Thomson Airways returning into first place with 70.8% OTP for the month, very narrowly ahead of Thomas Cook (70.3%) and Monarch Charter flights (70.2%).
For the year to 31 July 2014 there was no change in the ranking compared with the previous month among the charter carriers, Thomson charter flights being the most punctual with 77.4% OTP, followed by Thomas Cook and Monarch.
