Jet2, Monarch Scheduled and flybe followed with around 84% OTP for all three carriers.
British Airways flights suffered the poorest OTP level among analysed airlines during the month at 67.2%, some nine percentage points poorer than the average for scheduled flights.
For the rolling year to 31st October 2014 BA CityFlyer and bmi regional were neck-and-neck with an OTP level of 88.7% for both airlines, around 10 percentage points better than the scheduled flight average for the period.
British Airways moved into bottom place for the rolling year to date with 75.5% OTP.
For charter flights, Thomas Cook Airlines moved into first place during October 2014 with 84.0% OTP, ahead of Thomson Airways (80.0% OTP) and Monarch charter flights (71.3%).
There was no change in the rolling year to date rankings among charter carriers with the same order - Thomas Cook flights in first place, followed by Thomson and Monarch.
