BA CityFlyer, Eastern Airways and Virgin Atlantic followed with solid performances, exceeding the UK scheduled flight OTP average by four to five percentage points.
Jet2 and Ryanair were at the bottom of the league table for February, though their OTP levels of 78.8% and 80.7% respectively were not significantly below the UK average.
For the rolling year to 28 February 2015 there was no change in the ranking, with BA CityFlyer in first position recording 87.8% OTP, close to 10 percentage points better than the UK average during the period. Aer Lingus Regional were in second place for the year with 85.7% OTP, while at the other end of the table British Airways and Monarch Scheduled were the only two of the analysed airlines falling significantly below the UK OTP average for the period, with 75.5% and 76.6% OTP respectively for the two carriers.
Charter flight OTP levels had another improvement in February 2015 compared with the previous month at 71.3%. Thomas Cook Airlines retained top position with 77.3% OTP, followed by Thomson Airways flights which achieved 71.2% OTP. Monarch charter flights had the worst timekeeping however with only 59.8% operating on time during the month.
For the rolling year to 28 February 2015 the charter airline rankings were the same, with Thomas Cook (76.0% OTP) leading over Thomson Airways (73.9%) and Monarch charter flights (67.9%).

As a reminder, from January 2015 data the monthly OTP league table published has analysed punctuality data at 24 UK Reporting Airports, an increase of 14 new analysis points compared with previous datasets, and which effectively provides almost complete national coverage.
As a result we added three UK & Ireland scheduled airlines to our analysis group from January 2015; Aer Lingus Regional, Eastern Airways and Loganair. Data for all three carriers is now included in the monthly Latest OTP table, and can be seen above.
