Aer Lingus flights secured a sixth consecutive month at the top of our monthly OTP league table for April 2017 at UK Airports recording 91.0% OTP. Aer Lingus Regional were once again in second place recording 88.4% OTP, having achieved runner-up position in all but one of the six months to April 2017.
British Airways flights maintained third position for a second month with 86.1% OTP, with BA CityFlyer flights gaining five places in the league table since March to finish fourth with 85.6% OTP.
Thomson Airways fell to last place recording 70.3% OTP in April.

There was an improvement in scheduled flight on-time performance at UK Airports between March 2017 and April 2017, with overall OTP increasing by 0.6 percentage points to 79.5%, still slightly below the 3-year average April OTP of 79.7%.
OTP for the rolling year to 30 April 2017 was 73.0%, the same as for the rolling year to 31 March but 5.1 percentage points below the 3-year average OTP level.

Aer Lingus retained a clear lead in our OTP league table among UK & Ireland scheduled carriers at UK airports for the sixth consecutive month in April 2017, recording 91.0% on-time performance, over 11 percentage points above the national average level for the month.
Aer Lingus Regional were in second place with 88.4% OTP, with British Airways in third place recording 86.1% OTP.
BA CityFlyer climbed five places to finish fourth with 85.6%, their best monthly OTP performance since July 2015 around the time the carrier dominated the top of the OTP league table.
Jet2 flights also saw a significant OTP improvement month-on-month climbing five places since March to achieve fifth position with 84.5% OTP in April 2017.
At the bottom of the league table for the month were flights operated by Thomson Airways (70.3% OTP) and Thomson Airways (72.3% OTP). Virgin Atlantic flights also fell six places since March to finish in 13th position with 76.0% OTP.
For the rolling 12 months ending 30 April 2017, Aer Lingus retained top position in the league table with an OTP of 82.5%, followed by Loganair climbing to second place with 80.8% ahead of Aer Lingus Regional with 80.7% during the period, all well ahead of the UK average scheduled OTP level of 73.0%.
Other changes for the 12-month period compared with the year to March 2017 saw Jet2 flights climb one place to finish 10th ahead of Monarch Airlines.
easyJet and Thomson Airways flights had the poorest OTP levels for the 12-month period, recording around 65% and 69% on-time performance respectively, at least four percentage points worse than the UK average.
